1. Scope and topics

Abstracts should address (pre)habilitation and lifestyle in individuals with chronic organ disease and/or solid organ transplantation, across the full research continuum – from basic and mechanistic work to clinical effectiveness and implementation research.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Fundamental and mechanistic studies in exercise, muscle, cardiovascular, or organ physiology related to chronic organ disease or transplantation

  • Exercise testing, training, and rehabilitation before and after transplantation

  • Physical activity promotion and behaviour change in clinical practice and communities

  • Psychosocial, behavioural, and patient-centred interventions (e.g. motivation, adherence, self-management)

  • Long-term follow-up, quality of life, and patient-reported outcomes

  • Digital health, wearables, and remote monitoring in (p)rehabilitation

  • Health services and implementation research, care pathways, and multidisciplinary models of care

  • Case series, single-centre experiences, pilot studies, and patient-partner / lived-experience contributions

Submissions from all disciplines, covering laboratory, clinical, and real-world settings, are warmly encouraged.

2. Presentation formats

Abstracts may be submitted for:

  • Oral presentation: plenary presentation of 10 minutes followed by 3 minutes of Q&A
