

Abstracts
Transplantoux highly appreciates the presentation of posters by investigators.
Please note that studies involving patients in the pretransplant phase are also within the scope of the Symposium. The abstract is available now!
To present a poster, abstracts requesting for poster presentation, should be submitted by email transplantoux-symposium@kuleuven.be by 16th November 2025
Visit the "call for abstracts" to access the abstract submission system and for detailed information on the submission procedure and criteria.
The submission criteria regarding the abstract and poster must be respected to qualify for a poster presentation.
All submitted abstracts that fulfill the submission criteria will be screened and considered for presentation by the Local Organising Committee.
The Local Organising Committee will send a notification regarding acceptance or rejection of the abstract to the submitting author via email by 2/1/2026

Please carefully read and respect the instructions in order to ensure a smooth organisation and high quality of your participation to the "International Transplantoux Symposium: Time to Move".
Poster and oral presentation - Topics
Please be informed that if you submit an abstract about one of the following topics:
-
Effect of physical activity and training before and after transplantation (Session I)
-
Dietary interventions before and after transplantation (Session II)
you will need to present your poster or give your oral presentation on Friday, 6 February 2026.
If you submit an abstract about the following topics:
-
Young transplantees (Session V)
-
Other (Session IV)
you will need to present your poster or give your oral presentation on Saturday, 7 February 2026.
Guidelines for poster presentation
It is the author's responsibility to print the poster. The exact format will be shared at a later stage.
Posters should be mounted at their assigned spot. Each poster has been assigned a submission ID and each poster panel received a ‘submission ID’ label. Two sided tape will be available to mount the poster. The exact time frame for the poster mounting will be shared at a later stage.

Guidelines for oral presentation
Preparation
All presenters should submit their presentation (PowerPoint, format: 16:9 (not 4:3)) at the welcome and hospitality desk on a USB stick. It is not possible to hand over your presentation in the meeting room. Please write your submission ID on the USB stick.
The name of your PPT file should start with your submission ID, followed by the last name of the presenter and the short title of the abstract. Fe: 12_last name of presenter_short title abstract.pptx.
Your oral presentation
Please be seated on the first rows from the start of the session in which you present.
The moderator will call the names of the presenter.
Your presentation will automatically be shown on the screen.
A clicker will be at your disposal.
It is obligatory to respect your time limit (8' presentation + 2' Q&A).

​Notifications letters will be sent on 2 December 2025. In order to present, authors must register for the symposium on 19 December 2025 the latest.
